HOMELESSNESS OUTREACH
At Aloha Nani Church, our faith is meant to be lived out, not just talked about. As a Great Commission church, we reach into the Waianae coast of Oahu, the part of our island with the most homelessness, because we believe every person is loved by God and worthy of dignity, compassion, and care.
Through regular cookouts, we gather to share meals and simple, honest conversation. Our clothing bank and resource banks are stocked with essentials such as batteries, blankets, wash kits, and more, so that practical needs are met with open hands and a caring heart.
Our heart is to meet people where they are, to listen well, and to share the hope we have found in Jesus. If you would like to help, or if you or someone you know could use support, we would love to hear from you. Reach out through our Contact page and tell us how you would like to be involved.
MILITARY FAMILY MINISTRY
Aloha Nani Church is honored to serve both active-duty military personnel and veterans, along with their families. Military life can be demanding, and we want every service member and family to know they have a church home here, and that the hope of Jesus is for them.
We also reach out to the US Vet Center in Barbers Point, where we hold seasonal events for our veterans: Thanksgiving, Christmas gift wrapping, and Easter. We bring mini church services to encourage veterans in the Word, along with delicious, healthy meals shared together.
Pastor Jamie is himself a former military man, and he has completed PTSD and trauma training through the REBOOT program (Military Reboot). That background shapes how we walk alongside those who have served, always pointing to the hope of the Gospel in keeping with the Great Commission.
Whether you are active duty, a veteran, or part of a military family, you are welcome here. Reach out through our Contact page to learn how you can serve alongside us.
COMMUNITY EVENTS AND SERVICE
Loving people well means showing up in our community. Aloha Nani Church is a Great Commission church, and we actively live out our faith through dedicated outreach programs serving our local communities. From our home in Kapolei, near Kalaeloa, we want to be a church known for serving our neighbors and sharing the love of Jesus.
We are not trying to build a flashy church or chase the latest trends. We want to build something real: a church centered on Jesus, grounded in His Word, and serious about loving people. We are grateful to belong to a wider family of believers, and we are thankful for our partners, including the Southern Baptist Convention, the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention, The Gospel Coalition, and Military Reboot.
There is a place for you in this 'ohana. Come join us on Sunday at 10am, with refreshments to enjoy together, and visit our Calendar page to see what is happening at the church.
